SLT-Software (Bauer & Schmid GbR) strives to make the website slt.de as accessible as possible. We publish this accessibility statement voluntarily.

Scope

This statement applies to the website https://slt.de in all language versions (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish). The learning apps linked from this website are not covered by this statement.

Legal framework and benchmark

The website slt.de is not subject to the obligations of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG); this statement is voluntary. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, as our benchmark.

Compliance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible.

Non-accessible content

  • Colour contrast: in places, the accent colour (gold) used for links and highlighted text does not reach the contrast ratio of 4.5:1 (WCAG 1.4.3).
  • Heading structure: on some legal pages (e.g. the imprint), section headings are only visually emphasised and not marked up as headings (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • Skip link: there is no link to bypass the navigation and jump directly to the main content (WCAG 2.4.1).
  • Text alternatives: some images, in particular app screenshots in image galleries, only have generic alternative texts (e.g. “Image 1 of 5”) that do not describe the image content (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Animations: decorative animations only partly respect the system setting “reduce motion” (prefers-reduced-motion); some fade-in effects on loading and scrolling are still played.

We are working to remove these limitations step by step and will update this statement accordingly.
